One Day by David Nicholls = amazing

This was one of two books I read on holiday and I can confidently say it was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I had to hold back the tears as I lay by the pool, shocked and captured by the twists and turns in this brilliant storyline. I can't wait to see the film. (Which is out now)

...I also read Marian Keyes - The Brightest Star in the Sky. Also fantastic, a great holiday book I couldn't put down.

The past two weeks. We ate, drank and rode to Corfu Town on a moped, swam until our hair was all salty & lay on the beach watching the stars. Missing it already.

Arrived back from the sun drenched Greek Island of Corfu on Saturday; my skin now looking somewhat mahogany in colour! I feel great, so chilled and sun kissed. Thought I would post a quick pic of these gorgeous traditional Greek Slippers. Lots more photos to come...need to select the best out of 600 photos...got a little snap happy with the boyf's SLR.
